The Amazon Series presents complete power protection solution against
power failures,
voltage distortions, frequency fluctuations, voltage surges, interference
and voltage
drops for demanding industrial and medical applications, data processing
and much
more. True on-line, double conversion technology of the Amazon Series
UPS ensures
trouble free, reliable operation of valuable equipment and critical
load by maintaining
precise and pure sine-wave output. Rugged IGBT technology provides
high current
capability and protects the system against high instantaneous overloads
which improves
the reliability even more. System reliability may be further enhanced
by connecting
up to six Amazon modules in parallel redundant configuration. RS-232
communications
port and voltage free contacts are standard. With optional software,
these provide
orderly shutdown, direct system monitoring and network-wide administration
through
a SNMP interface, thus permitting monitoring from local or remote
locations. Amazon
maximizes battery life by optional temperature compensated charging
and automatic
battery testing & diagnostics. Built-in Maintenance Bypass (MBP)
of Amazon prevents
load interruptions during service and maintenance, and also eliminates
the need to
use an external cabinet.
